Solder Ball Laser Welding Ball Disc

Product Introduction: The "ball disc" (more commonly known as a ball distributor disc or disc) in a solder ball laser welding machine is a key component of its precision ball distribution system. It is primarily responsible for orderly and individually delivering tiny solder balls to the bonding position, making it a crucial step in achieving efficient and precise soldering. The disc typically has multiple ball distribution holes of specific sizes. These holes are machined with exceptional precision, their diameters precisely matched to the size of the solder balls used (for example, the common range is 0.1mm to 0.76mm), ensuring that only one solder ball can be accommodated at a time.
- Accuracy of ±0.01mm
- High flatness and smooth surface finish
Working Principle: The ball distributor disc works in conjunction with the ball drop channel and laser aperture. As the disc rotates, the ball distribution holes, filled with solder balls, are aligned with the ball drop inlet. Under the influence of gravity or assist gas, the solder balls pass through the ball drop channel and laser aperture, ultimately dropping precisely onto the desired solder pads. The laser beam emitted by the laser will then precisely irradiate the solder ball, causing it to melt instantly and complete the welding.
